About Us

The Diamond Heart Sisterhood is open to all who identify as women: Leatherfolx, Dommes, Masters, Mistresses, slaves, submissives, Tops, bottoms, kinksters, fetishists, exploring and allies.

The Diamond Heart Sisterhood is an organization that brings together women involved in the Leather, BDSM, Kink, Fetish, Power Exchange and Alternative Lifestyles. Working together we collaborate to provide an atmosphere of support through education, service and community


DHS fosters camaraderie, confidence, safety, mentorship and education. We do this through a variety of networking and socials, community services, activities and attendance at Lifestyle events and topical programming. DHS has both a physical and an online presence across the U.S. 


DHS does not discriminate and accepts all who identify as women including CIS, trans, NB and all orientations.

As the elected officials of the Diamond Heart Sisterhood, the Board of Directors takes pride in our positions. We work hard to provide good administration with organizational transparency. The Board is united in our belief that every DHS member, prospect and friend should have access not only to us, but to all our policies on which the organization was built. It is our hope that as we expand, not only will our members be better informed about how DHS runs, but that you'll be inspired to help us make it even better.

This class takes a deep dive into a variety of BDSM toys, stingy vs thuddy and the benefit of adding toys to your scenes. Our instructor will focus on how toys are used in kink or for sexual activity. We will look at several products ranging from bondage materials to sensation toys to impact items and more. We will discuss the benefits of knowing products, what they do, how they feel and what materials they’re made from in order to make informed purchases when adding to your collection. There will be a section addressing costs, health and safety concerns and risks involved in using toys. Our instructor will use her vast retail experience to show the fun things people now have access to like remote control devices and even kinky games to play, then answer questions on where to find the best products

Overview: How do you commit kink in public? What laws should you be aware of? What are the laws concerning impact play in your home? And should you answer the door in leather when the police come knocking? These burning questions and more will be answered when you join us for some kinky cop talk.  We’ll explore the good, the bad, and the indecent parts of the law!. Q&A following the presentation.
Irish Gentleman is a retired NYPD Sergeant who was the Commanding Officer of one of the elite Special Victims Squads in New York City.  He’s also an active member of the kink community

"Sexual Freedom" presented by Daddys Cupcake will discuss overcoming insecurities in the bedroom with an open, honest discussion about human sexuality, not feeling ashamed and exploring our wants and desires. Intimate topical questions encouraged.

This Presentation is open to Members, Prospects, and Friends of DHS. If you would like to invite a friend please be sure they register in advance as well.

Membership

Prospective Members Process

Step 1: Prospective members must first have a current S/sister agree to be their sponsor who will submit a letter of recommendation for that prospect due by the last day of each month.

  • If a prospect does not have a sponsor, they may ask our Membership Committee to assign one from DHS to spend a minimum number of weeks getting to know each other. This can be online or in person. If, after that period ends, the S/sister agrees to become their sponsor, the next steps should be followed. In the unlikely event that they do not agree to sponsor, the prospect may be reassigned to another S/sister for another introduction period. DHS works carefully to assign prospects to the most appropriate sponsors with similar values and other common traits, as this person will become your "Big Sister" upon acceptance.


Step 2: Prospective members must submit a letter of interest for membership including but not limited to their time and any involvement in the community, their information (including FetLife profile name), what you do or would like to do to empower women (kink or vanilla), what attracted you to the Diamond Heart Sisterhood, and what you feel you can offer as a member. Prospect letters are also due by the last day of each month.

  • NOTE ON TIMING: Ideally, both the sponsors and prospect letters should be submitted at the same time. It may be necessary to submit these letters separately over several months. If the recommendation letter or proposal letter is not sent by the last day of the month, the letters will be held until all items are received at which time the prospect will be considered in the month everything is received.


Step 3: After the Sisterhood receives both letters, all active members will be provided with a copy to review and will have the chance to voice any concerns until the 7th of each month. All concerns will be thoroughly investigated by the Sergeant At Arms and presented to the Board. The Board reserves the right to handle any situation as they see fit however attempts at a resolution and healing will be made in all cases. If mediation becomes necessary, it will be spearheaded by the Sergeant At Arms.


Personal letters of recommendation may be requested to support any prospects 


Step 4: Barring any concerns, or after a resolution of any concerns is reached, the prospect and their sponsor will be invited to a required online interview. This interview is an opportunity to apprise you on the Sisterhood, to learn more about you and to hear from your sponsor why they feel you would make a good addition to DHS. 


Step 5: After the interview the Board will review and vote upon inviting you to the Diamond Heart Sisterhood. Your sponsor and you will be notified of the decision.


Step 6: If admitted you will be sent a copy of the Bylaws to be signed and returned within 1 week along with your Initial dues. Upon receipt of both your signed Bylaws and initial dues you are officially a Diamond Heart S/sister and you will be added to any of the avenues that DHS has which you request (a private S/sisters only Facebook group, our FetLife pages, events, any documents listing what state you live in, other DHS teams and committees you choose, our electronic mailing list, etc.). Initial dues are $40 and $20 each subsequent year thereafter. Fully vetted and initiated members will receive their DHS patch. 


All new S/sisters are required to participate in an information meeting conducted by the Sergeant At Arms.

SUPPORTER MEMBERS

DHS welcomes our friends, allies and supporters who don't normally qualify for full membership, or for those who want to support the organization in an auxiliary way. Supporter membership allows males and non-lifestyle persons such as vanilla spouses to join and show their encouragement. Supporter members will have access to many DHS events and presentations but may not attend general meetings unless invited and have no voting rights. Supporter members will receive a patch or pin to show their alliance. Supporter dues structure is half of members, i.e., $20 initial dues and $10 annual dues

DHS currently is a U.S. based organization and therefore accepts members from any state or district. At this time we are U.S. based only. 

Yes, due to the nature of the group all prospects must be age 21 or older

Once a fully vetted member has joined there is a requirement to attend a minimum of two (2) DHS events per year which include meetings, presentations and events, and submit annual dues

General Member Meetings are held online the second Sunday of each month unless otherwise noted. The Board of Directors meets once per quarter. Committees meet as needed 

Although DHS is a Leather group, we do not require anyone identify as such to join

Yes! DHS welcomes non-binary, gender fluid and transitioning folx. If you are female facing when representing DHS we are happy to have you apply. We also have a Supporter Membership level for males and others who want to show their support
